The word Mentor has its origins in Greek mythology. King Odysseus put his son under the care of a guardian, whose job was to protect and guide the child. Helped by timely intervention from another Mentor, the son grew into an able, a decisive and a victorious man.
Today, a Mentor has come to be known as an able Coach who imparts wisdom, shares knowledge and is a go-to guide for the Mentee. An able Mentor helps chart optimal pathwayz based on a Mentee’s age, goals, strengths, areas of improvements, knowledge and maturity.
